Inspired by RoadTripRyan’s adventure map, detailing the locations of all of his experiences in the greater Utah area. I finally decided compile all 400+ posts into a map of my own. For the past ten years, it’s shocking to see all the places I’ve written about in that time. Looking back at my first posts detailing trip to New Orleans and EDM concerts that I’d travel to, all the way to the countless adventures in the mountains around the world. From reviews of hostels in Iceland to reviews of my favorite backcountry skis, the BD Helios 105s. I’d like to think my style has evolved and I’ve gotten better, but who knows, that’s not really why I do this. I write because I love it, it’s cathartic, it helps people, and most of all, it’s fun. Even if I was writing into the void of no one, thankfully I am not, but even if I was, I’d still be posting after a trip or big adventure because I really do enjoy doing this.
You can move the map around to a place you’re looking to go, and find something that I’ve written about in that location. Take Park City, UT for example, you can find all my favorite skiing days and mountain biking spots and the best stories from the times down in the desert outside of Moab. Or zoom out to find all of the international trip stories and the best things I could think to write down and share with you folks on the internet.
Looking forward to another 10 years of writing about my adventures, travel stories, and reviews. As I inevitably enter another phase of life, there will be new things to write about, new experiences to have, and tons of mistakes to make and learn from. I’m hoping to dig into more details and personal experiences with everything, rather than just a high-level how-to that I’ve written man times over. Who knows what is in store for me, this site, or the videos that I love to make.
