Scrambling to Upper Saddle | The Grand Teton

This photo captures a moment. A moment on this climb, when things were just about to get real. We just made the lower saddle at sunrise, took a quick break, and were moving up the ridge towards the Black Dike picture in the middle of the frame. In all the research and beta I could find, most notably on Wyoming Whiskey’s page which outlines, in detail, all the route options up the Grand, there was no mention of how difficult this section would be. A 1,544′ scramble separates the upper saddle from the lower saddle, in just over a half-mile. …

Salmon, Idaho | Raddest Town You’ve Never Heard Of

I can’t tell you how many small towns we drove through on our road trip. So many that I lost count. Moraine Lake| Banff National Park, Canada

The first alarm goes off at 4:30AM. Canada’s northern summer prevents the sun from every really setting, so it was still technically bright out when we rolled out of our tent. Court, Gregor, and I were all so exhausted, but we knew it’d be worth it. The one thing everyone, continuously told us we had to do while we were in Banff National Park was to catch sunrise at Moraine Lake. You know that one hike, that everyone “seems” to have done, but is still on your bucket list? Well, Mt.
