Innsbruck, Austria

Just a 1.5 hr train ride away from the exhausting weekend we had at Oktoberfest in Munich, rests a city at the foot of the Western Austrian Alps. That place is called Innsbruck. And even though it was cold, cloudy, and the middle of the week,  Innsbruck was an incredible place on our trip. The city sits in a valley along The Inn river and is famous for hosting the Winter Olympics in ’64 and ’76. But you can find that stuff out via Wikipedia (since that’s what I just did). What you won’t find out, until you see for …

Backpacking through Europe | How to Plan a Trip

We all have at one point, if not every single day, stared at our cubical walls and day dreamt about backpacking through Europe. You know, the way it’s been portrayed in novels and in cinema. You can picture yourself splitting a bottle of wine in the park at the base of the Eiffel Tower in Paris or wandering through the ruins of ancient Rome. Maybe even partying all night on the beaches of Barcelona or raising your liters of beer for a cheers in Munich. If not find yourself enjoying the vices on the streets of Amsterdam or feeling the …

Adventure Doesn’t Find You | Epic 2016 Recap [Video]

A look back on all the incredible ups, and downs, from 2016. From Iceland to Oktoberfest, hiking to climbing, 100mile rides to triathlons, and everything in between the mountains! Screw New Years Resolutions.. Make Goals for 2017

Forget about them! Resolutions are absolutely pointless. We all (myself included) make these unobtainable requests of ourselves to become the perfect version of ourselves… overnight. That is simply not how it should work, yet we do this every single year and are left disappointed by the end of February. Of course, the time of year never helps since most of us wish to be healthier and more active, in the coldest and shortest days of the year. This is my case to rebrand the whole New Years Resolution letdown into simply, “Goals for the year.” What’s the difference? Resolutions are more …

Visit Achensee Lake in Tirol, Austria

Simply beautiful. This is one of those places I’ve been, where the words to describe my first view of this place are difficult to formalize. Sounds cliché, and it totally is, but I still stand by my statement. Our taxi driver picked the four of us up from the train station and headed north, towards the mountains. The small towns we passed through were so tight, I barely thought one car could pass through, let alone us and the ones he kept passing. The road began upward from the valley, along these winding mountain roads that

Featured on Travel Channel | Cliff Jumping

For the life of a wannabe adventure/athlete/filmmaker, very view opportunities actually come from my YouTube videos that I spend hours making. This, however, is one of those rare moments when something usually too good to be true, actually turned out to be an epic opportunity! Back in early August of 2015, I received a message on YouTube from a “producer” from Los Angeles, telling me how she is shooting a show for The Travel Channel. She proceeded to explain that she saw my cliff jumping video and wanted to know if I would like to participate in one of their …

Adventures in OKC | Pt. 2 [Video]

All work and no play makes Zach a dull boy… or at least I try to think like that. I was sent down to Oklahoma City for two more trips since my first video, and decided to explore everything OKC has to offer. Not an hour after I landed, I was headed over to Wake Zone Cable Park for a sick session. The guys there were ridiculously good. Between the food and work, I was also able to catch some time in the gym. ClimbUp OKC is a must for any travelers passing through. It’s such a unique experience climbing …
