My adventure dog Gregor and I head out most mornings from the house in the dark, cold, quiet, mountain air. Headlamps and light-up collars sending us off into the dark on the dirt roads, up and down along the contours of the mountainside we live on. My dog, living his best life, runs ahead by about 10 feet smelling all the scents along the way. As cars come, I call him back, waiting for the neighbor to pass by. Deer scramble from the open areas, into the wooded sections, upon the first sight of us. Sometimes my dog will try …

DOG BEACH | Ocean Beach, San Diego, CA
Watching our dog Gregor play with a hundred dogs, all running amuck on the beach, splashing in and out of the ocean, is completely worth the 12+ hour drive from Utah. Which is why we’ve been to the Ocean Beach dog beach twice in the past three years. It has become a tradition, of sorts, for us to make the pilgrimage across the Western states over the Thanksgiving weekend to California. And for the last four years, where we’ve gone has pretty much been based on where our dog could go to a beach. And it has never disappointed. The …
Dogs in Banff National Park
If you’re anything like me, you’ve wanted to take your dog with you on some of the most incredible hikes that our National Parks have to offer. You know… to Delicate Arch in Arches, Angels Landing in Zion, or even up to Half Dome in Yosemite. Okay, maybe I wouldn’t take a dog up there, but you get the idea. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in National Parks in the United States (or should I say not allowed on trails). Have no fear, the Canadian National Parks are here! Did you know, dogs are allowed everywhere in Canadian National Parks? …
Huntington Dog Beach
Flat out, I think the best part of California is the Dog Beach in Huntington Beach. On our first trip to California over Thanksgiving in 2018, when our dog Gregor was only 6 months old, we discovered this absolute gem of a beach. And two years later, we made the drive back to California over the same Thanksgiving weekend to go Huntingdon Dog Beach again, because it’s that incredible. And after three days, back to back to back at the dog beach, Gregor was completely wiped out and slept the entire 12hr drive back to Utah. What exactly is the …
Mountain Biking Fruita, Colorado with Gregor the Trail Dog
When it comes to mountain biking, there’s simply no bad days. Whether it’s a cruiser lap on the local trails, or an all out sufferfest that takes all day. Mountain biking is amazing. Yet, there are some rides that I’ll never forget. And a Saturday spent riding in Colorado with my fiancé, Courtney, and our trail dog, Gregor will be one of those best rides of my life. The ride was nothing out of this world, a simple, yet challenging loop at 18 Road trail system north of Fruita, Colorado. We rode from our campsite, up to the forest road …
Gregor The Adventure Dog | #AdventuresWithGregor
A dog can truly change your life. And ever since this pup became a part of our family, our adventures have only been more incredible. From the jagged Tetons of Wyoming, to the orange deserts of Utah, this pup has experienced it all. But don’t take my word for it, check it out from his perspective in this video.
I’ve never made a video like this one, so I hope you like it. I know my girlfriend and I sure thought it was funny.

Angel Lake Adventures with Gregor the Adventure Dog
Spent the last weekend of summer at a high alpine lake in deserts of Nevada with Court & Gregor. It’s safe to say, Gregor loved the trip. Hiking and swimming are his two favorite things to do! We got to the campsite at night, so waking up, surrounded by these peaks were incredible. We spent the weekend hiking and swimming around Angel Lake and Smith Lake. Gregor was so tired after 3 straight days of these adventures!

How a Dog Will Change Your Adventures… FOREVER
Fridays used to be spent deciding the weekend’s adventure, on the fly, and the car was packed accordingly. Headed to the desert, into the mountains, or even just by river somewhere; it never really mattered where we went because we could go anywhere. But that all changed this summer when my girlfriend and I got our little, endless ball of energy, Gregor. We’d always wanted a dog together, and finally everything aligned and we found the perfect little doggo. But I think we may have looked before we leaped just a bit, because or adventures will be forever changed now …
