Little Wild Horse Canyon is an awesome slot canyon, and one I can’t recommend enough to anyone looking to hike their first slot canyon. Located just outside of Goblin Valley State Park in the South-Central region of Utah’s desert, it’s only a 4hr drive from Salt Lake City and 2hrs from Moab. The canyon itself is stunningly beautiful, with eroded sandstone walls that you could spend a lifetime exploring. The best part about this experience, is that it isn’t a technical route. Full MOAB Adventure Weekend | Climb/Bike/SUP/Camp

One Year Older | A Desert Birthday Adventure [Video]

My girlfriend is the most amazing person. She’s always gone over the top to make my birthday special. So this year, I decided to make her birthday one she’ll never forget. I convinced 2 of our friends to join us down in the desert where we’d camp, hike, and ride a Polaris RzR around the Moab off-roading trails! The cold winter weather threatened our plans, with overnight temps in the teens. It was going to be a wild weekend, and that doesn’t even begin to capture how wild the RzR was!

Sand Mountain | Little Sahara Adventures

The mountains of Utah are incredible. From the red cliffs of Moab, to the snow capped peaks in the Cottonwoods, they all offer some thing uniquely different to everyone. Capitol Reef, the least known, and visited, National Park in Utah. But it is a hidden gem. Which is quite a strange label since it is a national park. Guide to Utah’s Geographical Jargon

I grew up a flatlander in New Jersey, where describing a geographical feature would be limited to the following: street, hill, woods, or the beach. Since then, I’ve been exposed to what people would consider real, mountainous terrain in New England. Up there, we’d throw around terms like: Mountain, Summit, Ridge, Lake, and Elevation.
